Vaughn Larsen Standing died March 22, 2015 at home of natural causes. Born September 29, 1927 to Lawrence Wilford Standing and Keziah Bethleah Larsen Standing in Salt Lake City, Utah. Vaughn received his High School Diploma from South High School and graduated with an Associates Degree from the LDS Business College. He served in the US Navy with an Honorable Discharge during WWII. Vaughn also served in the Danish Mission for the LDS Church and also worked in the Historian Department for the LDS Church.
Survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters: Guy (Karen) Standing, Denise Sweigard, Janeen (Franklin) Steer, David McGuire Standing, Maria Standing, Thomas McGuire Standing. Also survived by 1 sister, Marylou Broadwater , 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings.
Memorial Services will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 12:00 to 1pm at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple where a viewing will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 6pm to 8pm and Monday March 30, 2015 10:30am to 11:45am prior to the service. Interment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
