Niza Maria Campuzano de Rossi

With our heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Niza Maria Campuzano de Rossi. Daughter of Rafael Campuzano and Neroly Marquez. Niza passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025. 

Niza was born on April 11, 1945 in Guayaquil, Ecuador and gained angel wings at the age of 79 in Riverton, Utah. 

From an early age, Niza loved the arts and pursued that passion by attending the Colegio de Bellas Artes, earning a degree in Interior Design. Then later mixed it with entrepreneurship. 

Niza married Victor Augusto Rossi on June 27, 1963. Their marriage hit 40 years when Victor passed on October 6, 2003.  

They had three children: Victor Fabrizio Rossi Campuzano, Niza Paola Rossi Campuzano, and Vanessa Giancarla Rossi Campuzano. Grand-mother “Nona” or “Noni” of 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren – her whole world. 

Niza was the oldest of her siblings, Monica Caamano Marquez and Presley Caamano Marquez.

Niza worked as an interior designer and entrepreneur. Niza truly loved to paint, read, and more than anything, spend time with her family surrounded with love. Her favorite hobbies consisted of traveling. Niza loved being spontaneous and adventurous, she was always up for trying different foods and activities. Broadway shows were one of Niza’s favorite activities, especially since its location is in New York City, which holds a very dear place in her heart. 

Niza was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints, in which she was sealed to Victor for their marriage. Niza was loving, caring, strong, determined, and absolutely beautiful from the inside and out. Her light shone the brightest when she was surrounded with her family. It didn’t really matter to her what the occasion was, so long as she was spending time with family and seeing the reactions and interactions happening within. Those were the moments she was the happiest.  

Remaining to hold and cherish Niza’s memory are: Sibling - Monica Caamano Marquez and Presley Camaano Marquez. Children - Victor Fabrizio Rossi Campuzano, Niza Paola Rossi Campuzano, and Vanessa Giancarla Rossi Campuzano. Grandchildren - Fabrizio Giancarlo Rossi Orellana, Andrea Estefania Gilbert Rossi, Pia Francesca Rossi Orellana, Vanessa Carolina Gilbert Rossi, Victor Fabrizio Rossi Garcia, Ricardo Paolo Alarcon Rossi, Juan-Sebastian Alarcon Rossi, Lola Judith Rossi Garcia, Andres Xavier Alarcon Rossi, Fiorela Bianca Rossi Garcia, Ariana Gianacarla Baldini Rossi.  

Great Grandchildren: Ahnessa Hogue, Taylor John Hogue, Kaylee Mamulski, Brantley Hogue, Kimberlee Mamulski, Caleigh Rodriguez, Mia Rossi, Noah Wallentine, Andrew Tacuri, and Caleb Rodriguez.      

Viewing and Memorial Services will be held on January 10, 2025 at the Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, UT.  

Funeral services will begin at 11:30 am. 

Viewing: 11:30 am – 12:45 pm 

Memorial Services: 1:00 – 2:15 pm 

Graveside Dedication at 2:30 pm
