Elaine Latteier Aikens passed away July 18, 2015 with loved ones at her side. She was born April 29,1926, daughter of Richard and Mary Watkins. Elaine graduated from East High School and attended Utah State University. She married John E. Latteier and together raised four children. She later divorced and married Enloe Robert Aikens and together enjoyed many activities including camping, fishing and horseback riding. Elaine held many callings in the LDS Church. She truly loved serving others.
She is survived by her children Michelle Griner (George), John Latteier (Kari), Monique Wilkinsen (Trent) Nancy Schoenfelder (Richard) and Steve Aikens, brother Richard Watkins, 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, parents, her daughter Taunya Hansen (Kris) and brother Ronald Watkins.
A viewing will be held Thursday July 23, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary located on 300 East South Temple followed by a graveside service at Salt Lake City Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
