1937 ~ 2017

Gay Cederlof Brown passed away April 4, 2017 at the age of 79. She was born September 25, 1937 to Lucile and Philip Cederlof. Gay was married to Allen C Brown in the Salt Lake City Temple June 6, 1960. Gay and Allen had five children; Angelin, Tiffany, Gardner, Hilary and Annabelle. Gay was a dedicated and committed mother, grandmother and friend. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and two of her most loved callings were that of Mission Mother and Relief Society President. Each permitted her to showcase who she truly was. Gay made everyone she came in contact with, including animals, feel special with her beautiful smile and hugs. For all who new her she literally was the Belle of Ball. She truly had the magic touch in transforming everything from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Gay loved anything that was active including tennis, dancing, water and snow skiing. Title nine was made for girls like Gay. She always had an appreciation of the arts and the beauty of the earth..many times viewed from the back of a motorcycle. The underdog could always count on Gay. She was sensitive and empathic to the hardships and plight of others. The world has been left with more light and beauty because of Gay Cederlof Brown. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, 5 children, 24 grandchildren and 2 brothers. We love you Gay.
