Patrick Lawrence Kaminski

1980 ~ 2016

Patrick Lawrence Kaminski, 36, died Friday, November 25, 2016 at home suddenly. Patrick was born January 30, 1980 to Leonard Kaminski and Beverly Cooper in Charleston, South Carolina.

Patrick grew up in Summerville, South Carolina. He graduated from Summerville High School where he was in the junior ROTC program. He also loved scouting where he earned his Eagle Scout Award.

After graduation, he decided to move to Salt Lake City for his job at InterContinental Hotels Group. Patrick and his dad were extremely close. They would skype, email or talk every day.

In February, 2015 he met his wife Stacy Kaminski. It was love at first sight for Patrick and Stacy. Their first date was at Black Bear Diner. They enjoyed movies together, camping, and being with their son Trae. In October of 2015 Patrick asked Stacy's parents for her hand in marriage. He popped the question with Trae there as well at Black Bear Diner. On March 19, 2016, they were married at Silver Fork Lodge in Utah. They became a family which Patrick treasured dearly.

Patrick was an amazing dad to Trae. Even though he wasn't his biological son, he treated him as if he were his own. They went to the Grand Canyon for their honeymoon and made so many memories that Stacy will hold close to her heart for eternity. Patrick also had the pleasure of helping coach Trae's t-ball team. They had so much fun together. He was meant to be a dad.

If you asked anyone, Patrick had a huge heart. He would do anything for anyone. He was known for his sarcasm and his loud sneezes. He was an amazing husband, dad and son. Patrick and Stacy would often tell one another they loved each other to the moon and back. He will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy, son, Trae, dogs Oreo and Wiggles. He is also survived by father, Leonard Kaminski, step mom, Dottie and his mother Beverly Cooper.

There will be a gathering for friends and family on Friday December 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at Larkin Mortuary Riverton (3668 West 12600 South, Riverton, UT 84065). A Memorial Service will begin at 12 noon.
