Oakley Elizabeth Foster

2021 ~ 2022

Obituary Photo for Oakley Elizabeth Foster < >

Our beautiful baby girl passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 18, 2022. Oakley and her twin sister Eleanor were born July 7, 2021. Oakley was a fighter. In her short eight months of life, she suffered many health challenges, spending two months of her life in the hospital.

Shortly after birth, she was diagnosed with laryngomalacia and after several operations on her airway, she ended up with a tracheostomy. She had severe reflux and emesis and required an NJ tube for feedings. Despite all that she faced, she had a bright, spunky personality and a shy little smile. She captured the hearts of her siblings and parents as well as her therapists.

She is survived by her mother and father Melissa and Preston, six siblings: Charles, Alice, Gracelynn, Abigail, Chandler and Eleanor; grandparents Karen and Todd Johnson and Deanne Foster. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Brian Foster and cousin Houston.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday March 26, 2022, at the LDS Stake Center, 4517 West Mille Lacs Drive South Jordan, Utah. A public visitation will be held prior to services beginning at 12:30pm. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens.

Hey man. I can’t even put into words especially having small children myself. I know it’s been a while but I still remember it like it was yesterday all the stuff that we used to chat about and talk about at work. We just had a very close friend who is a 12 year old to cancer and its impossible for me to stomach it to lose your kids before we go. I will do my best to make it in person but just know you’re in my prayers and family prayers. If you need anything even just an access point set up :) please let me know. I wish your family well and please be safe and reach out for anything
