Our sweet Bree passed away on Monday, September 12 at 2:27 pm at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. After a lifelong struggle for health, her little body completed its mission to house her beautiful spirit. Bree was a happy and smiling little girl, and she spread joy and light to all who met her.
Bree loved to be out and about—playing outside, going for walks, driving in the car, taking an airplane to visit grandparents. She wanted to be a part of the world as much as possible. She loved Minnie Mouse and MandMs, just like both of her grandmothers. She loved tumbling and giggling with her brother and sisters. But most of all she loved being held and snuggled by her parents, Barrett Bruce and Ashley Robin Edwards.
Countless hours were spent holding her as she fell asleep or consoling her when she was in pain. Sleeping on her father's chest was one of her greatest comforts. Our arms are now empty, but are hearts are filled with love and our minds are filled with memories. We know that she is free from pain and with her Father in Heaven.
Bree's service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 17 in the Parkway 9th Ward chapel, 10206 3200 West in South Jordan. Her viewing will be held before the service from 9:00am until 10:30 am. She will be interred in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 13001 3600 West in Riverton.
Many days and nights were spent at Primary Children's Hospital with Bree where we received attentive care. Donations can be made to the hospital as tribute to her.
