Summer Lynn Weeks Gallegos, age 37, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016. She was born on January 14, 1979 in Idaho Falls, ID to Walter Clyde Weeks and Cindie Lee Young.
Summer had a gigantic heart, loved everyone and loved being in the service of others. Summer especially loved kids and they loved her. Summer's passion for life was fueled by the love for her daughter Ali, her son in law Garrison and for her future grandchild. Summer had a big personality, she loved talking to everyone around her. Summer was known for her spontaneity and quirky sense of humor which are just a couple of things that we all loved about her. Summer was well known for her one on one midnight talks with nieces and nephews over bowls of ice cream. She will be deeply missed by all of us.
Survivors include her daughter; Alicia Gallegos, Father; Clyde (Carol) Weeks, mother; Cindie (Scott) Torrey, brothers; Trevor (Shannon) Weeks and Stephen Torrey, sisters; Cassandra Austin, Robin Moreau, Stephanie (Jason) Whatcott, Jennifer Torrey and Melinda (Luis) Perez.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at the LDS Rose Canyon Building, 14398 South 6400 West in Herriman. A viewing will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30-10:45am at the church. Cremation will follow the service.
