Bill Freshwater passed away on October 20, 2016 in West Valley City, Utah after a six-year battle with Alzheimer's. He was born to Walter B. Freshwater and Millie Palmer on January 11, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bill was a mechanic for the automotive industry. He loved motorcycle racing, fishing and hunting. He was a well-known midget car racer.
Bill is survived by his nieces; Sherle and Gaye, nephew; Rick and cousins; Doug, Merta, John, Jerry, Carol, Jim, Ellis, and Lynette. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jay, sister in-law Donna and nephew David.
The family would like to thank Ron Peterson for the care and love he gave to Bill.
A gathering will be held for friends and family to remember Bill on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 7-8pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.
