Wanda returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 28th after a long battle with cancer. She was married to the love of her life, Everett Harold Buhrman. He preceded her in death.
Wanda lived a life filled with hard work serving those around her, and fun times with her husband and children. She found peace and joy as she spent long hours working in her yard which was always a place of beauty; some of her last words were "Are you sure you got the yard taken care of?". She never left anything half done or unfinished.
You could often find her serving her friends and neighbors in her own quiet way; this is a legacy left to her family.
She was a strong believer in doing things her own way and often took those around her by surprise, but she was always faithful to what she believed in and expected the same from everyone else. She was deeply loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children; Becky (Mike) Haymes, Margie Ludington, Milt (Vickie) Buhrman, Pam (Kevin) Sorenson, her 10 grandchildren and countless great grandchildren. Her brothers, Danny (Elaine) Koester and Robert (Renee) Koester.
