Loving wife of 60 years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Gerrie Moore, 83, passed away January 27, 2014. Born December 20, 1930 in Salt Lake City to Vernon S. and Doretta V. Huber. Married Richard J. Moore on October 5, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Gerrie was a faithful member of the LDS Church serving as Relief Society President and in many other callings. She was an accomplished seamstress and cosmetologist.
She is survived by her 4 children, Rick (Cyndi) Moore, Julie Warenski (Curt) Erickson, Scott (Pat) Moore and Brad (Wendy) Moore, 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Jack, parents and her brother Doug Huber.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. A visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm prior to the services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
