Pagorn “Oddy” Chunmuang, 49, passed away on January 15, 2022 at his home in Sandy, UT. Oddy was born on April 20, 1972 in the Bronx, NY to Prasert Chunmuang and Chongkolnee Chunmuang. He grew up in Wyckoff and Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.
Oddy attended Ramapo High School where he graduated with honors, winning several academic and athletic (track and field) awards. He later attended New York University on their pre-medicine track and went on to earn an MBA at a university in Thailand.
For several years in Thailand and then New York, Oddy worked as an equity analyst for the Asian markets before settling down with his wife, Vanezza. Together, they raised two beautiful boys, Daniel (11) and Owen (9) who kept him on his toes. He was a dog-person through and through and enjoyed meeting people as he walked his dogs (Cookie, Pepper, and Biscuit). He loved going on road trips with his family, reading non-fiction books, and was committed to ACNH.
Oddy is survived by his wife Vanezza Chunmuang, son Daniel Chunmuang, son Owen Chunmuang, father Prasert Chunmuang, sister Addy Chunmuang, and aunts, uncles, and cousins in Thailand. He is preceded in death by mother Chongkolnee Chunmuang.
