Patricia “Pat” Davis

Patricia “Pat” Davis, 94, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, returned home to her Father in Heaven, on Thursday, June 17, 2021.
Pat was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on Monday, December 13, 1926, the daughter of Daniel Boone and Jesse Eulala Wadsworth.

Pat was an avid reader, especially loving history. She loved to share her memories of her long life and was especially proud of her Native American heritage and enrollment in the Muscogee Creek Nation.

She was a faithful friend and was known by all who knew her for a sense of humor, which she never lost, even into the final years of her life.
Among her greatest accomplishments was being a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Her devotion to her family and her selfless love for each member, individually, was felt and cherished.

Pat was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a loving visiting teacher, friend and “Grandma” to all, a name that she loved to be called. She loved her Savior, Jesus Christ and looked forward to the day when she would be with Him again.

She is survived by four of her beloved children. Nancy Barrett (Frank) of Tooele, UT; Jack Dukes of Salt Lake City, UT; Sidney (Sheri) of Soda Springs, ID; and Layne (Annah) Davis of Boise, ID. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Daniel David Dukes, a brother Richard “Dick” Boone and brother Nathaniel Boone.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Salt Lake 10th Ward (420 South 800 East, Salt Lake City) on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 11:00 am. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to the funeral service at the 10th Ward meetinghouse.
