Obituary
Patricia Ann Householder, beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend, passed away on October 11th 2026 at the age of 65, surrounded by those she loved. After a courageous year-long battle with cancer, Patricia was called home to her Father in Heaven.
Patricia ( Patty) was born on April 17, 1961, to Emma Jean Taylor and Roland Gene Taylor. From the beginning, family would become the center of her life and the greatest source of her happiness.
Patty married the love of her life, Boyd Householder, on August 15, 1980. Their story began years earlier when they met in high school, later began dating, fell in love, and built a beautiful life together. For 45 years, Boyd was her strength, protector, and loyal partner, and she was his love, his light, and his purpose.
During Patty’s battle with cancer, Boyd remained faithfully by her side, lovingly and courageously caring for her through every difficult moment. The devotion they shared was extraordinary. Their marriage and the true, enduring love between them will forever be an example to their children, grandchildren, and everyone fortunate enough to have witnessed it.
There was never any question that Patty wanted to be wherever her family was. Nothing brought her greater happiness than having her children and grandchildren gathered around her. She created a family that loved deeply, stayed close, and always knew where home was.
Patty was the proud mother of three children: James (Sarah), Jayson (Tira), and Jacci (Kolton). She adored her nine grandchildren: Haylee (Ty), Easton (Katelyn), Levi, Olivia, Quinn, Scarlett, Sloan, Wyatt, and Finnley. Being their mother and grandmother was among the greatest joy and accomplishments of her life.
Patty possessed an incredible gift for love and kindness. She carried herself with grace and elegance that was uniquely hers, but the beauty people will remember most was the way she loved others. She had a way of making the people she loved feel important, cared for and deeply cherished. Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. The loss of Patricia will be felt profoundly by her family and by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Boyd Householder; her cherished children and grandchildren; her sisters, Kathy (Mark) Baldwin and Karen (Rendall) Hunt; and her brother, Ron (Janeen) Taylor. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Julie (Clay) Morgan, Joni (Warren) Ostler, and Jill (Cooper) Warner; and her brother-in-law, Jerry (Katrina) Householder, along with many beloved extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Roland Gene Taylor and Emma Jean Anderson Taylor; her sisters, Linda Smith and Susie Oxford; and her parents-in-law, Boyd and Darlene Householder.
Her love for her family was immeasurable, and the memories she created with those she held dear will forever be treasured. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on through the many lives she touched.

I love you so much aunt Patty. Thank you for being the best aunt ever!😘 Love Bostyn.
Patty and I were childhood friends. We lived next door to each other and we played football kickball baseball with all the neighbors. We got older and we would ride to school together scrounging quarters together for gas. Our lives went in different directions but we got to catch up in the past year and
It was like we had never lost touch. Patty had a beautiful soul and i am deeply sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.
Having had the privilege of knowing and loving Patty and the whole Householder family for so much of my life has truly been an honor and a blessing. Patty was so much more than my best friend’s mom. She was like a second mom to me through so many chapters of my life and I will forever be grateful for the love, kindness, and warmth she always showed me.
When I think of Patty, I think of a home filled with jokes and laughter, a heart full of kindness, life lessons that will never be forgotten, and a woman who was as genuine and beautiful on the inside as they come. She had a way of making you feel loved, welcomed and part of the family.
After 36 years of friendship with Jacci, I have a lifetime of memories that I will cherish and hold so incredibly close to my heart. And I can't help but smile thinking about all the years of shenanigans Jacci and I put you and BJ through. Thank you both for loving us through all of it! ❤️
Patty, you will be missed more than words could ever express, but you will absolutely never be forgotten. Your love, laughter, and the beautiful mark you left on so many hearts will live on forever. I feel so lucky that I got to be one of the people whose life was touched by yours. Rest peacefully, sweet Patty. Until we meet again. ❤️
Love forever, Leslie
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Patty was one of a kind.
Patty’s warmth was unmistakable, even in the short time I met her. It’s clear her love shaped a beautiful family — including managing to keep Jayson in line with that gentle strength only a mother has.
Patty, I am so grateful for the years we got to work together. You are all things light and love and your kind heart changed the world. You are so missed and so loved.
BJ-
You are in our prayers.
