Patricia Jacobsen

1946 ~ 2022

Patricia Jacobsen, 75, of Sandy, Utah, passed unexpectedly in her home on April 03, 2022. Patricia was born on June 08, 1946, In Little Rock, Arkansas to Nelly Patricia Rocha and Autry Max Gorman. She met the love of her life and lifetime partner, Darrell Orson Jacobsen at a very early age. They were married on October 21,1967 after Darrell returned home from fighting in the Vietnam war.

Patricia was a caretaker. She raised two sets of children, her four kids Trisha, Chris, Wendy and Misty. She and her husband Darrell later took on the parenting roll again when they took in their three young grandchildren, Jon, Tish, and Linde and raised them.

For the last 9 years, Patricia stayed home and helped to care for all of her great grandchildren while their parents worked. She loved to spend time with the kids and create memories.

Patricia is survived by her husband Darrell Jacobsen, daughters Trisha Vargas (Ramon), Tish Crawmer (Brian), Linde Minkel (Chris), son Jon Jacobsen (Michelle), sister Connie Hernandez, brother Von Gorman, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply. She is preceded in death by her parents Nelly and Autry Gorman, sister Shauna Gorman, brother Chris Gorman, daughters Misty Jacobsen, Wendy Jacobsen and son Chris Jacobsen.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 13, 2022, at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E 1300 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84108.
