Our beloved mother, Pat, and sweet grandmother, Nana passed away peacefully on August 18, 2023, with family by her side at the age of 79.
She was adored and loved beyond measure, and those who had the opportunity to know her will miss her dearly, and will always remember the kindness and love that she had for everyone. Her ability to find joy and connection with those around her was a gift she shared with all.
Pat was born on April 21,1944 in Boise, Idaho to Bill and Margaret Preece. She married Michael Pretti on August 17, 1971. Being a mom and grandmother was her greatest joy. She raised three daughters, and adored each of her six grandchildren. She was their biggest cheerleader & fan. She loved going to all their sports games and other activities. She had a fun way of living life that made everyone want to be around her. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.
Pat was an avid reader and loved to garden. She was very artistic, talented, and creative with cross stitching, and decorating.
Pat is survived by her husband, Michael Pretti, her three daughters, Marrilee Smith, Michelle Mitchell, Andrea (Matt) Wright, six grandchildren, her brother Michael Preece, and sister Janice Preece. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Ricky, and Steven Preece.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 11 AM at Larkin Sunset Lawn (2350 E. 1300 S, SLC, UT, 84108
I have no words today how sorry I am. We were friends over 60 years. We had our kids together. Never lost track of each other no matter where we lived. I loved her dearly and she will always be in my heart. You girls live with great memories. They will help you get through this difficult time. ❤️
So sorry to hear about Patricia but we never heard about her passing. My prayers are with you at this time. As I know what you are going through as my husband passed away in April of this year. Love this family. Diane Wicks
