Patricia Wilkins Cannon
“Pat” 1925-2024
After ninety-eight years of living life to the fullest, Pat passed away surrounded by family at home in St George, UT on February 2, 2024. Pat was born May 29, 1925, in Twin Falls ID to Cleon W Wilkins and Lucy Andrus Wilkins.
Pat attended East High School in Salt Lake City. After high school, Pat attended the University of Utah where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. At the University of Utah, Pat met and married her college sweetheart, William Tenney Cannon III (Bill) in the Salt Lake Temple.
Pat and Bill moved to California where they started their family. Bill's career took them from California to Pennsylvania and back. Pat took an active part and was a member of ‘The Daughters of Utah Pioneers.’ Pat was active in her community and church. Pat and Bill loved to travel. They covered most of the U.S. and much of Europe and Asia.
Pat is survived by her son Mark W (Melinda) Cannon, sister Lucy (Fred) Moreton, 4 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Pat was a great lady that lived life to the beat of her own drum. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Salt Lake City Cemetery (enter the gate located at 920 East and 11th Avenue, SLC). A recording of the service will be available to watch online using the "Watch Service" button above.
