Paul Edward Meyers, our dad, grandpa and great grandpa, finished his work on this earth and peacefully passed through the veil on September 6, 2023. Paul was born on April 4, 1941, to Frank Annil William Meyers and Leone Irene Johnson in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Granite High School.

Paul married Agnes Carol Hall on November 17, 1961, and together they had 3 children, Kimberly, Stacey and Russell. They were later divorced. On March 2, 1974, Paul married the love of his life, Tamara J. Mills, who had two sons, Rick and Michael. Paul and Tam together had their son Christopher. Several years later, they adopted their two granddaughters, Sonya and Amanda.

Paul had a career of truck driving. He worked for Interstate Brick Yard for over 40 years as well as Ryder and Albertsons. He taught all of us how to work hard. Paul was also very talented in his woodworking skills and could make anything he put his mind to. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Paul and Tam were sealed for eternity on their anniversary in 2014.

Paul is survived by his children Kimberly Sundberg, Rick (Nanette) Belew, Stacey (Ray) Baird, Michael Belew, Christopher (Marci) Meyers, Sonya (Travis) Cherrington, and Amanda Wightman, 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his lovely wife Tam, parents, brother Russell Kay Meyers, and his son Russell.

Our family would like to thank Paul’s nurse Joyce and the many others for their loving care the last several years of his life.

We loved Paul and Tam, they were a sweet couple and loving neighbors. They always welcomed our family, friends and neighbors in their home. Our kids loved them both as well. One thing we will always remember of Paul was that on Halloween he would always hand out full size cans of soda pop instead of candy. He was one of the favorites! We will miss him but will always recall the many years of memories we had with him, Tam and the girls. 💕

We were sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Paul and Tam were the best neighbors and had the prettiest yard in the neighborhood when we moved in. Paul always loved to talk about his red truck to Jeff and we enjoyed visiting with both of them. We hope you remember the good memories at this sad time.

I was absolutely devastated to hear that Paul had passed. I've been his home health care aid for a little over 2 years now that Paul has become family to me. I started visiting him around the same time that my father passed away which was also very devastating to me. Paul helped to fill an emptiness in my heart from missing my father. I think he helped me more than I helped him. He had a heart of gold and I'm going to miss him SO much. Every Thursday Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. I will be thinking of him because these are the days that I came to visit him.
