Jack Arnold Phillips, Sr. passed away on November 12, 2018 surrounded by his large and loving family. Jack was born May 29, 1932 to Lorenzo Snow Phillips and Mary Elizabeth Duncombe. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Donna Rae Fawson and his eight children; Jack Phillips Jr (Jean), Debra Alldredge (Kay), Lorraine Winegar (Joel), Brenda McClean (Dale), Diane Andrus, Renee Langford (Kenneth), Gordon Phillips (Michelle) and Charlyne Withers (Alan) along with 38 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Jack worked at Kennecott Copper for 33 years and then almost 20 years as a manager at Broadway Towers. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. He taught us always to do the very best we can. He leaves an ethic of hard work and a legacy of family love and loyalty. We miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Midvale 7th Ward, 8350 South Jackson Street, Midvale, Utah. A viewing will be from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Sandy, Utah.
