Peter was the kindest, most loving soul of anybody I ever knew. We had an immediate friendship upon meeting. He was born in Perth, and I had lived in Perth. Peter loved his family and spoke of Dante often. He loved every living being on earth, and even rescued spiders. Peter was a very special person and I will truely miss him. Love to his family and many friends.

I feel such sadness with Peter's passing. It was a blessing for me to be able to spend some time sitting with him at Highland care. His spirit of love and compassion was never ending. The last few years I spent going to the movies with Peter and Kathy and then having friendly conversations with them at lunch after the movie were very special times. My condolences to Kathy and family during this time of loss. Peter will always have a place in my heart.

There wasn't anyone I enjoyed working with more than Peter. He was my teacher and mentor in Bulk Mail. Peter brought great knowledge and excellence to his work. He was compassionate towards his fellow man and was a great friend. Peter had a ready smile and stood for what he felt was right. It was a shock to hear of his passing as I had hoped to spend more time with him. A family man, a person of goodness, this is a man destined for a good place in heaven. May I emulate his example. This would be the best tribute to a great man.

I want to express all my love and heartfelt condolences to Peter Luque’s family and friends. It’s the rare person who strives to make changes in the world and help us to Imagine how to be more compassionate.

I’ll miss our chats about teaching, books, movies and music. Peter was a kind and gentle soul. He loved his family, friends, pets, and nature in general. I was lucky to have known him.
Rock on across the universe, my friend.
