Cleo Anges Pace

1923 ~ 2016

Cleo Agnes Pace, loving mother, sister and grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2016 surrounded by her loving children. Cleo was born August 25, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Hilding Lauritz and Ellen Smith Eckenstam. Cleo married Robert Pace on April 5, 1946 and they were married for 48 years. Cleo retired from OC Tanner as a supervisor in the sample department after 28 years of service. Cleo's greatest love was her family and spending time with them at BBQ's, as well as fishing, camping and hunting trips all of which brought her tremendous joy. She loved to travel and couldn't wait for the day she could return to Hawaii. She will missed deeply by all.

She is survived by her children, Carol, Bob, Sue (Dave), and David (Liz), 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Gene (Judy), and sisters, Mary Emma, Ruth, and Annette along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by daughter in-law Neva, grandchildren, Toni Sue, Kirk, Tena Marie, and Guy, as well as 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Mom had a special love for her sister Mary who was her life long best friend. Special thanks to David and Liz for their unconditional care, companionship and support during the past 22 years. Our love will remain with you Mom, and you will forever be in our heart.

Funeral services for Cleo will be held on December 12, 2016 at Larkin Sunset Gardens located at 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Services will commence at 11:00 AM.
