Much beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend Robert "Bobby" Martinez passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Murray, Utah, surrounded by his family. Born December 25, 1950 to Robert Martinez Jr. and Annabell Martinez in Alamosa, Colorado. He married his sweetheart of 25 years, Sue, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bobby was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He also enjoyed involvement with The Elks Lodge, where he was a Past Exalted Ruler, and the Knights of Columbus organization. Bobby loved to travel, go camping and dancing, and spend quality time with his family.
Survived by his loving Wife, Sue; Father, Robert Martinez; Children, Natalia (Jacob) Anderson, Barbara (Terry) Gardner, Elaine Martinez, Pauline Martinez, Gary (April) Martinez, Tony (DeeAnn) Martinez, Judy (Talley) Garcia; two Granddaughters, Abigail and Isabell; many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins; and his two special Fur-babies, Chica and Sasha. Preceded in death by his Mother, Annabell Martinez; Sister, Anita Gallegos; Brother-in-Law, Wade (Rudy) Doerr; Uncle, Alex Lucero; and Grandparents.
Rosary Services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2019, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 3560 W 3650 S, Salt Lake City, Utah 84119. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 8, 2019, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment to take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.
