Ralph Davis Leavitt, 91, passed away October 15, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born November 8, 1926 to Charles Elmer Leavitt and Celestial Athlinda Davis in Auburn, Wyoming.
Dad married Alice Beth Allred in the Logan Utah Temple. Beth later passed away. He then married Marylou Cunningham in Star Valley, Wyoming and were sealed in the Logan Utah Temple, Marylou also has since passed away.
Dad served in the United States Army and Air-force for 12 years. He served on the Chamber of Commerce in Reseda, California. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved horse back riding, leather work, working on his ranch, sitting in the sun, and loved being with his family.
Dad is survived by his children; Nola, R. Davis II, John, Zetta, Mercy, Jay, Jared, Carlianne, Jackson, Maria, Marylou, and Joshua. He also leaves behind 51 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his two eternal companions Beth Allred Leavitt and Marylou Cunningham Leavitt.
A funeral service will be held Friday, October 19, 2018 at 12 Noon at the Riverview 5th Ward, 12101 South 700 West, Draper, Utah. Friends and family may call from 10:00-11:30 a.m. before the service. Interment will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Afton City Cemetery, Afton, Wyoming.
