A tribute to Cameron from his brother:

Above is my older brother Cameron Alexander Olivares. He was the greatest human being I have ever met, and truly the greatest man that has ever touched this world. His soul was pure. He never harmed anyone, never could do anything but love anyone and anything, and had a heart made of pure gold.

He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth due to complications. He had shunts put into his neck shortly after his birth to maintain the liquid flowing through his brain. He has had 20+ surgeries and was basically a human cyborg with all sorts of tubes and pumps flowing through him to make him more comfortable. He has been through a lot of pain in life, and could never be seen without a smile on his face.

He has done and seen everything through the eyes of an angel, and has truly been an inspiration in my life that no one else can compare to. He influenced me to be the greatest person I could be, and I truly love him for what he did for me and my family.

Last night, due to medical complications, he passed away in his sleep at the age of 22. The doctors predicted he wouldn\t live past the age of 9 when he had first been born.

He is truly a medical marvel and was my best friend throughout my childhood and into my early adult life. I will never forget his smile, his goofy laugh, or his ability to do nothing but love.

Cameron, you were truly an inspiration, and you will be missed for the rest of my life.

I love you.

May you Rest In Peace, older brother.
