Deanna Kay Mill

1946 ~ 2017

Deanna Kay Mill passed away peacefully on December 23rd, 2017 after a battle with cancer.

Deanna was born in Harleysville, Pennsylvania to James and Erma Keeler on September 25, 1946. Deanna held a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and touched so many young lives over the 30 plus years she taught 4th grade. "Mrs. Mill was my favorite teacher," was a quote we have heard many times over the years.

Deanna loved the ocean and swimming was a passion of hers throughout her life. She also enjoyed reading and traveling, spending time in Hawaii, San Diego and Arizona which were some of her favorite spots.

Deanna will be forever remembered for her kindness, patience, strength and love of family and friends. She loved her family and her happiest times were when "everyone" was together. She enjoyed lunches with her swimming friends, teacher friends, children and grandchildren. These times always made her happy.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband Rod Mill, daughters Krista (Steve) Lynch, Kara (Zach) Anderson, grandchildren Cooper and Riley Lynch, Kaylee, Ayden and Ella Anderson. She is also survived by her sister Judy Beaver.

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah. A visitation will take place from 1:00 - 1:50 p.m. prior to services at the mortuary. Following services, a Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 ‚ 7:00 p.m. at Market Street Grill, 2985 East Cottonwood Parkway, Salt Lake City, UT. Interment will take place at Larkin Sunset Gardens cemetery.
