Terry Rod Sorensen II

1946 ~ 2014

Terry Rod Sorensen III, born Nov 4th, 1946. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He passed on February 20th, 2014 after fighting a courageous battle with complications from cancer surgery. His family has found great comfort knowing he is free from pain and is with his heavenly father.

Born to Jack and Carol Sorensen in SLC. Terry Graduated South High in 1965. He spent the majority of his adult life in the transportation industry where he was loved by all who knew him. Known as the ultimate Urban Cowboy, Terry was instantly recognizable in his Stetson, hornback gator boots and suit. Family and friends will miss his jokes and quick wit.

Survived by his eternal wife, Patricia Allred Sorensen, his children Brad (Jennifer) Sorensen, Jennifer (Scotty) Phillips, Marshall Allred, brother Randy (DeOna) Sorensen, sister Debra (Bob) Yates, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents.

Viewings Feb 25th 6-8pm and Feb 26th 1030am-1145am. Funeral services Feb 26th, at High Noon. All will be held at Monument Park 11th Ward, 1565 South Foothill Dr. SLC UT, 84108.

Following services, he will be laid to rest at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mausoleum, 2350 East 1300 South, SLC UT 84108.
