Brannon Connor Amott (August 11,1995-December 8,2016) died following an epileptic seizure the morning of December 8th. Brannon was the son of Kelly and Lisa Amott and brother to Dara Amott, who all love him absolutely and unconditionally and had the greatest hopes for his success. Brannon struggled with epilepsy and bipolar depression and though we will miss him terribly, we know that he now is at peace.
Those who knew him loved him for his kindness, his light, his sense of humor, and his love for people. Throughout his life he demonstrated the most sincere affection for others. He always wanted to help, even when he was the one who was suffering. Despite his innate goodness, Brannon constantly ignored his parents advice of, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should."
Brannon is survived by parents, sister, and grandparents Nile and Susan Schow and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Donn and Barbara Amott.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 12 at 11 AM at the Nibley Park Ward Chapel in Salt Lake City (2465 South and 800 East). Viewings will be held on Sunday night, December 11, from 6 PM-8 PM at Larkin Sunset Lawn (2350 East and 1300 South) and from 9 AM to 10:45 AM on Monday prior to services. A memorial service will be held in Minnesota at a later date.
In lieu of flowers hug your kids, tell them you love them, and take them out for ice cream.
