Barbara Lee McQuaid

1939 ~ 2018

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Barbara Lee McQuaid passed away March 1, 2018 from ALS in Draper, UT. She was born August 30, 1939 in Bakersfield, CA. to VO Prichard and Docia Snider. Barbara was devoted to her family, especially to her grandchildren. She did not miss a dance recital in 54 years.

As manager of the Utah Dance Center for over 25 years, she lovingly cared for its students, staff, and their families. Barbara loved travel, family time, and was an avid Utah Jazz fan till the end of her life. She lived a quiet, strong faith that guided her throughout her life.

Barbara is survived by her three daughters; Christy McQuaid (John Rukavina), Kathy Gottler (Anthony), and Cheryl McQuaid (David Butler), 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Connie May (Marvin). She was preceded in death by her husband, LaMar McQuaid.
