Karl Albert Elggren passed away peacefully in the home of his daughter Barbara(Preciado) in Cameron Park, CA on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at theage of 81. He was born September 8, 1935 in Salt Lake City, UT and his parents were A. Lewis Elggren and Mildred Louise Petersen. Karl had two younger sisters Louise and Jill. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the Central States Mission. Karl married Lorille Hair (Johnson) who had two daughters Deanna Johnson (Cox) and Christy Johnson (Judd). Karl and Lorille had two children Babara and David. The family moved to San Jose, CA where Karl worked for the IBM Corporation for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jill and his wife. He is survived by his sister Louise, four children, twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at10 a.m.onSaturday, April 1, 2017followed by Funeral Services at11 a.m.and Interment, at Larkin Sunset Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Rd., Sandy, UT.
