Ruby Hiday Dale Gisseman passed away June 27, 2015 from natural causes. Born December 5, 1920 to Maria Frances Wilson and Charles Clinton Hiday in Pershing, Indiana. Married Thomas V. Dale in 1938. He was killed in action during WWII on Iwo Jima, February 19, 1945. They had four children: Danny (Carolyn, deceased) Dale of Holladay; Bonnie (Gary) Johnson of St. George; Penny (Marvin) Bernstein of New York; and Reginald Thomas Dale, deceased. Married Van Gisseman November 1948, later divorced. They had one son, Dr. Roger Gisseman (Corine) of Salt Lake City. Retired from Utah Power and Light in 1985 as an ATMS Computer Specialist.
Ruby is survived by her children; two step-sons, Milton Gisseman (Midge) and Ralph Gisseman (Edith); 16 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends and family may visit from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
