Rani Gangadharan, 69, passed away on February 21, 2024, in Millcreek, UT surrounded by family.
She was born in KGF, Karnataka, India to loving parents Gangadharan Kuzhandaiswamy and Marimuthu Mari. After graduating with a degree in nursing, she started her first job at ESI hospital. In 1991, Rani met Krishnan and named for time and eternity in Bangalore, India, and went on to have three daughters – Rohini, Krithika and Ashwini. She was an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Rani. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend.
Rani is survived by her husband Krishnan Anjaneyappa, daughters Rohini (Joshua) Carlson, Krithika (Javin) Rees, and Ashwini Krishnan; Grandchildren Astika Carlson, Kyra Rees, Ahana Carlson and Jay Rees.
Rani is preceded in death by Mr. and Mrs. Gangadharan, two brothers and five sisters Natraj, Ethiraj, Lakshmipathi, Neelaveni, Kodanaiki, Krishnaveni, and Kausalya.
Funeral services will be held on March 9, 2024, at 10:00 am at Larkin Mortuary (260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City). Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
