  • On Thursday, May 13, 2021, Raymond Alarid was reunited with his wife Theresa Alarid in heaven.

    Raymond was born March 9, 1939 to Tony and Annie Alarid. Raymond is survived by his family including his brother Louie Alarid and sister-in-law Margaret; his daughters Elizabeth Alarid ( Liz ), Jennie Romero , Laura Alarid, and Elsa Conteresa; and sons Tony Alarid and his daughter–in-law Anna, Raymond Alarid and his daughter-in-law Rachel ,Joe Alarid, Paul Alarid and daughter-in-law Helen, and Wesley Ray. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Raymond is preceded in death by his son-in-law Robert Romero.

    Raymond dedicated part of his life to the U.S. Navy. With that he had stories and knowledge he loved sharing with his loved ones. His favorite stories to share were the ones with him and his wife Theresa.

    His favorite past time was watching his Denver Bronco’s play. A recent highlight of his life that brought him great joy was watching an NFL game live.

    He will always be in our hearts and his stories and knowledge that he shared will continue on as his family grows.

    Family and friends please join us as we lay Raymond Alarid to rest in his final resting spot next to his wife Theresa. A viewing will be held May 20, 2021, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Larkin Mortuary at 260 East South Temple in Salt Lake City UT, 84111. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at Larkin Mortuary. After the funeral, a burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery at 275 T Street in Salt lake City, UT, 84103.

    We will have a dinner for everyone that would like to join at Sunnyside Park, 1735 Sunnyside Ave S. Salt Lake City UT. 84108

    On behalf of my family and the Alarid (Dave) family, we send our condolences to a wonderful person and man Raymond Alarid, We are so dearly sorry for your loss. Donna Alarid, would like you all to know she sends her love and Sympathy to the family you are in her thoughts and prayers. This is never good bye (but) until we see and meet again.💐 May God keep your family safe and continue living the legacy that Raymond made for his family.
