1984 ~ 2026
Rebecca Bishop Cook (41)
Passed away quietly at home on January 10th 2026 in Draper, Utah. Rebecca was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 24, 1984. She was the daughter of Randy Lyman Bishop and Diane McAllister Bishop. Rebecca married her eternal companion Thomas David Cook in the Salt Lake City Temple on September 6th 2012 to be sealed for time and all eternity. Becca was a devoted member of the LDS church and was steadfast in her faith. She taught her children the Gospel and of Christ loving example. Becca was an example of her savior... to all those around her showing, kindness, love and loyalty to all those that she befriended. Becca loved Sci-fi of all kinds from Star Wars to Star Trek as well as any type of fantasy book... and often shared her excitement with her friends on the newest book series she was reading. Becca had an infectious joy that radiated to all of those around her. Her smile could light up a room and welcomed everyone. Becca was an amazing artist in all mediums. So many nights Becca would sit in front of the TV going, her imagination soaring and then she would create amazing pictures that left her husband and children in awe. For all the things she was, her passion was being a mother. Our 4 children loved and adored her; always excited to sit with her or have her with them doing whatever they were doing. Whenever Becca was with them she was smiling and so were they.
Teaching her children the joy of art, teaching the Gospel, or playing video games or in the park with them... Becca found true joy in her family time.
She is survived by her husband Thomas, her children Colin (18), Bentley (14), Owen (12), and Riley (6), her father Randy and siblings Christopher, Paul, and Allison, her parents-in-law Dave and Holly Cook. Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She is preceded in death by her Mother Diane McAllister Bishop.
A Viewing will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy Utah from 6 to 8:30 PM on January 23rd.
The funeral will take place on January 24th at 11 AM at the LDS church building at 272 Traverse Pt Dr, Draper, UT 84020. Services will be streamed, you may watch by clicking “watch services” below.

Dear Thomas and Children and Family. Our hearts are broken and we seek strength from our Savior. Becca was such a beautiful example of the love of the Lord. We are better people for having known her and look forward to her company again after this Mortal Journey. We love you.
