1951 ~ 2025
Rebecca Lee Leishman was born September 8,1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Shierld Rex Crawford and Geraldine Slye Curtis. She attended East High School where she met and married her husband Kim R Leishman in 1969. She was a hard worker and loved expressing herself through needlepoint, knitting, sewing, crafts and countless other projects. She enjoyed teaching others her crafts and taught friends and family, young and old, through craft club for kids and various sewing groups she hosted at her house. She passed away peacefully in her home on October 29, 2025, surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband Kim, her sons Rob Leishman, Stephen Leishman, Phillip Leishman, her 4 grandchildren, and her great grandson, as well as too many siblings and extended family to list. If you were lucky enough to know her, you knew you were loved. She took care of so many people, helping when and where she could. She was direct but kind, stern but loving, quiet and consistent. The world is a better place because she was here. She will be missed more than words can describe.
I'm so sorry to learn that she has left us. We have lost a kind teacher, an artist, and I friend.
