Renee Holton Webb, age 86, passed away on February 22, 2022, in South Jordan, UT. Renee was born on November 8th, 1935, in Salt Lake City, Utah to John Grant and Ella P Holton.

Renee was raised in a home with three sisters and a younger brother on Main Street Salt Lake City. She was taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ and loved the scriptures. She in turn taught that same gospel and imparted a love for the Savior in her own family. She met the love of her life, Loran Dale, at a church dance and they were married on April 14th, later sealed in the Logan temple at the same time her husband was sealed to his parents.

During her life, she continued to share her love for the Gospel through a lifetime of service and teaching seminary and institute. Some of her happiest moments were sharing the successes of her students. Once her three boys were raised, she found time to work in the temple. Her and Dale’s fondest memories came from serving a temple mission to Nauvoo. Together they spent 18+ years serving as Draper and Jordan River temple workers. Her grandkids often referred to her as using her “Temple Voice” as in that mode there was no sweeter person. Renee never lost her love for the scriptures. Her favorite set was at her bedside upon leaving this life.

Renee is survived by her three sons; Terry (Anita), Richard (Kelly), and Stephen (Emily) Webb; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Renee was the last surviving member of her parents’ family. She is preceded in death by her sisters; Bethea, Barbara, Beverly, and her brother John.

A viewing will be held on Monday, February 28th from 6-8 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South). A short memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, March 1st, at 2 PM also at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
