Richard Marlin Madsen

March 8, 1955 - February 20, 2024

Richard passed away peacefully after a long battle with dementia.  He was born and raised in Riverton and had a love for all things outdoors. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family. He was a jokester at heart and loved to serve others.  He was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Richard and Leslie were married in 1979 making this year their 45th anniversary.  Together they had 5 children; Natalie(Chip), Richard Tyler(deceased), Lindsey(James), Ashlee(Brett), Jaylee(Robert) and 8 grandchildren.  He has finally been reunited with his mother and father (Stephen & Jewel Madsen) and his son.  

A viewing will be held at Larkin Sunset Garden on Monday, February 26th at 11:00am-12:00pm.  Graveside services to immediately follow.

So sorry for your loss. Richard is such a great man with such a great sense of humor. He was always serving others. We had many great memories from planning and supervising young women's camps. He was such a talented woodworker. I am so thankful to have been his friend.
