Thomas A. Lake, born January 28, 1950 in Downey, California, passed away from complications of lung cancer on March 1, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, A.W. "Bucks" Lake and Marjorie Seare Lake. Survived by his wife of 30 years, Sharon Ingersoll Lake; children, Jennifer, Shane, Shanon, Derek (Cera), Layne (Desire), Kara (Aaron), and Sean Gordon (son-in-law); grandchildren, Rooney, Gracey, Parley, Daesen, Cayden, Joey, Parker, Draven, Johnathan, Weston, Braxton, JR, and baby Roberts; brothers and sisters Jim (Isa), Patty (Dub), Barb (Craig), John (Kelly), DeDe (Jeff), and Joann (Doug); as well as numerous nieces and nephews he loved dearly. Throughout the years Tom worked at Coca-Cola, Westco, LeCroissant, and started his own home inspection company. He loved being outdoors fishing, rock hounding, playing at the beach, and traveling to new places. His most favorite hobby of all was people watching; he would just sit and watch for hours. Tom had a warped sense of humor, which was very infectious. He loved his wife, kids, and grandkids most of all and always put a smile on their faces. He enjoyed watching their success. We will all miss him terribly. A celebration of his life will be held March 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with a viewing from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT. Beach wear, tee shirts, flip flop casual. "No suits or ties, or I will come back and mess with you forever!" Interment at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 S., Salt Lake City, UT.
