Michael Allen Teahon

1968 ~ 2014

A bright and beautiful light went out of our lives yesterday, upon the death of our loving father, husband and son, Michael Allen Teahon. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 4, 1968 and died on November 3, 2014 as a result of injuries sustained in a truck-auto accident.

He married Danielle Rebecca Hartley on January 11, 2002 and they are parents of two wonderful boys, Gehrig Allen and Jackson Allen Teahon. Dani, Gehrig and Jackson were the complete focus of Michael's life. He woke each day determined to support them in every way possible and he loved them more than words can ever express. Michael's boys participated in a variety of sports and Mike was there with them every step of the way. He acted as baseball coach in the Crown Colony League and Cottonwood Little League Football. He was a supreme example of what it means to be a man. His gentle and inspiring coaching skills were appreciated by both his family and the families of the other players on the team. The memory of Michael's sense of humor, dependability and strength of character is something his friends and loved ones will carry with them throughout the years. His passing has created a hole that will never be filled.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Teahon. He leaves behind his wife, Dani, and his two sons, Gehrig and Jackson as well as his mother, Virginia Teahon and three sisters, Vicki Watts, Cherie Fullmer and Terri Kiter.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, the 8th of November at Larkin Mortuary ‚ Riverton, located at 3688 W. 12600 S. with a visitation beginning at 1:30 PM. In Lieu of flowers, we are requesting donations to The Michael Teahon Account, c/o Chase Bank, that has been set up to help Michael's family.
