Robert Glade Ingersoll, age 81, passed away on March 13, 2022, in South Jordan, Utah.
Born on June 7, 1940, in Murray, Utah. Robert was the son on Robert G. and Beth Adawn Ingersoll. Married Marie Santarosa on September 3, 1960, in the Cathedral of The Madeleine in Salt Lake City. Marie passed away in 1999. Robert retired from Kennecott Copper Corporation after 30 years of service and then enjoyed working as a crossing guard for several years.
Robert spent the last few years of his life living at the Sagewood Senior Center in South Jordan and made many friends and enjoyed his time there.
Robert is survived his brothers Mitch (Burlene) and Kip (Tara) Ingersoll; nephew Clint Ingersoll, nieces Alicia Ingersoll, Nicole Ingersoll, Lorena Ingersoll and great nieces Kylie Ingersoll, Bailey Ingersoll, Sara Little and Gracie Hendry.
Graveside services will be held at Noon on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Sandy City Cemetery, 9000 South 700 East. A viewing will be held prior to the graveside service at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) in Sandy from 10:30 to 11:30am.
