Listen to Previously Recorded Service

Antonio Rodolfo Corzo was born in Camana Peru on June 4, 1922. He died of natural causes on November 28, 2021, at 99 years old in Holladay, Utah at the home of his daughter who cared for him.

Rodolfo lived a long productive life. He was eldest of six children and happened to outlive all of them. He was known for his strong work ethic from a young age. In his younger years, he worked in public works in Peru. He held various jobs into his seventies after he had immigrated to the United States.

He was a calm loving soul who advocated getting up early every morning and running. He often was up by 4 AM. In fact, he ran or walked every day into his nineties. He had a zest for life. He was witty with a dry sense of humor and always had great advice.

Rodolfo was very involved in his religious affiliations, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served many years in the Church and was one of the first members and the first branch presidentent Arequipa, Peru where he spent many of his adult years until the time of retirement. After retirement he immigrated to the United States to help his daughter. He helped raise four grandchildren alongside his wife of 67 years. He was kind and patient. Always known for his calmness. He was a jokester often teasing grandchildren, but his favorite target was his wife who often scoffed at his dry sense of humor.

He married his wife, Adela, on November 9, 1953. She was the love of his life. After she passed away in 2019, he still would often inquire about her. He missed her dearly. We are glad that they can now be reunited.

Rodolfo is preceded by his daughter and son, Irsa Corzo Cheadle and Antonio Corzo, respectively. His grandchildren, Eryn Stansfield, MD, Arthur Sabastian Cheadle, Gabryelle Maura Cheadle, Rodolfo Corzo and Gouliana Corzo. And her great grandchild, Smith Stansfield.

May you rest in peace with the love of your life. We will miss you until we meet again.
