Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Stansfield, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by loved ones, on October 29 at the age of 68.

He was born on March 31, 1954, in Ogden, Utah to parents Helen and Roy. He attended Brighton High School and spent most of his life in West and South Jordan.

Ronnie adored and cherished every minute he spent with his beloved family. His other greatest loves in life were boating and softball. He loved taking countless boating trips where he mastered the art of waterskiing, jet skiing, and air chairing. He spent many nights on the softball fields often traveling for tournaments for a sport he deeply enjoyed. He also enjoyed snow skiing and attending many sporting events and dance recitals for his children and grandchildren. We will deeply miss the special way “Grandpa” played cars, baseball, and spent many other precious moments with his grandchildren. Above all, he loved spending time with his beautiful, caring wife to include travel, family events, and lots of cozy nights at home.

Ronnie was a successful business owner with incredible work ethic and willingness to show compassion for everyone he encountered. He spent his entire life serving and sacrificing for others, never asking for anything in return. He was an amazing role model for all who knew him. He also
possessed a strong testimony and close relationship with our Heavenly Father.

“Dad,” we cannot thank you enough for all the love and values you enriched in us and for always being there when we needed you. We are saddened as we say goodbye and we will honor and cherish you with all our hearts. Until we meet again. Rest in peace...

Ronnie is survived by his wife: Karri. Children: Jeremy, Tiffini, JR (Tristen), Josh (Stephanie), Amanda (Casey), and Samantha. Grandchildren: Larenz (Brittany), Aliyah, Natasha, Mikayla,
Treyden, Tayan, Colston, Bracken, McKae, Taggart, Beckett and Oliver. Great Grandchildren: Kingston and Sophie. Sister: Diane. Niece:

This is a hard one to swallow. I truly enjoyed playing with for many years, he’s a great example friendship. I can remember way back in the Ron and I played with Bill and went to a tournament in Lehi. We were splitting innings. With each other because the rest of the player s were a better ball player. Well Ron made some great plays during his half innings of play. I got lucky and hit one out deep center… became the designated home hitter for the team, Ron and I just laughed as we sat on bench. This was many years ago. Never forgot it.

God’s speed my ole friend.. may or paths cross again.

I was so deeply saddened to hear about his passing. He was such a great guy. I always wished I had 10% of his abilities on the ball field. It was always an honor to take the field next to him. He was an even better person off the field. I will forever be in his debt. He was such an amazing friend to my father. I was also very lucky to call him a great personal friend. I learned a lot from him. I will always look up to him. I will forever miss him. My thoughts are with you.
