  • Ronni Elizabeth Kershaw was too good for this world, and tragically left us at only 23 years old on December 10th, 2020. She was the most selfless person, and will be so missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her, even if only briefly.

Ronni would literally do anything she could for those who were important to her! Her parents meant the world to her, and her sisters were some of her best friends. They all loved each other so fiercely and maintained a close relationship despite the natural drifting apart that comes with age. Ronni was the glue that held her family together, and she did it with so much grace and love.

I don’t think there is a spirit that could NOT be kindred with Ronni’s. She had a magical way of connecting with every person in her path and showing love in a way no one else could. You didn’t have to be best friends to have her drop a compliment or have a laugh at any given moment of the day. Her smile and friendly wave could turn even the worst days bright. And that laugh... Her laugh was utterly contagious, when you heard it, you couldn’t help but smile and laugh right along with her.

Ronni was hilarious, her sense of humor was absolutely unparalleled and as hard as it is to admit, we all know she was the ‘funniest sister’. She always prided herself on her puns, and her abundance of wit and sass will be sorely missed by anyone who even got just a minor glimpse of it!

Ronni knew exactly who she was, and made no apologies for being herself! She would express her personality through her bright eccentric outfits and colorful shoes. She was an old soul, and truly retro! She loved anything old or vintage, adored all animals, especially her pup Gunther, and loved outer space more than the average person. Our world will be so boring without her in it, but we can take comfort in knowing how much she meant to anyone who got the pleasure to know how special she was, and all the memories she blessed us with.

Ronni is survived by her beloved dog Gunther, her Mother Michelle Kershaw, Father Ronald Kershaw, her 2 sisters and best friends, Kelsey and Karley Kershaw. Her Uncles Kevin (Judy) Kershaw and Kyle (Edie) Kershaw, and Aunt Susan (Troy) Bagley, along with her many cousins and other extended family. She is preceded in death by her Great Grandma Kershie, Grandpa Buzz and Grandma Ruthie, Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Campbell and her Uncle Michael Turner.

Heaven truly has received one of the brightest lights and her light will continue to shine through all of the lives she has changed for the better. Services will be held Sunday, December 20th 2020 at 3:00 PM at Larkin Mortuary 2350 E 1300 S in Salt Lake City, UT. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the memorial service.

I had the privilege of being a chaperone on the high school trip to New York that Ronnie and my daughter kaitlyn went on. It was so much fun exploring the city with these fun loving girls and their friends. The kids could go anywhere they wanted as long as they had their adult with them. I just tagged along having fun with them. Ronnie turned to me asked me what I wanted to see and do. I have always been touched by her thoughtful question. She brought a special sparkle to everything she did. I'm sure she is bringing love and laughter to heaven.
