Born April 17, 1943 in Salt Lake City Utah at his grandmother’s house. He was born to Thomas Henry Simpson, and Darlene Simpson. He is the second oldest of his 3 siblings (Lynn,Rena,Linda.) Ronnie grew up in Garfield Utah causing mischief and making some of the greatest stories. He spent his time riding trains, going up to the caves to hang out, and any other adventure that called his name. When Ronnie was 13 years old he moved to Salt Lake and met his sweetheart and eternal companion Patricia Simpson. They were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City temple on July 3rd 1964 and began their lives together. Ronnie worked for EIMCO as the plant manager he took part in building and designing various mining machinery. His work also took him to places all around the world such as China, France, Italy, Canada, Mexico, and all over the United States. He later made a career change and moved to Parker and worked as a hydraulic and electrical specialist for the next 25 years and retired in 2010. Ronnie had many accomplishments in his life, but the biggest accomplishment in his eyes was his family. He has 2 kids Kevin and Lisa Simpson. His daughter Lisa and her husband Alberto Calleja gave him 4 grandkids, Daniel, Jessica, Eric, and Cody. Ronnie’s life was his family and his top priority was always being the best Husband, Dad, and Grandpa. He loved family hunting trips, sleepovers, football games and just random weekday shenanigans; he always knew how to make the room laugh with his fast witted jokes, which were not always appropriate! He took great pride in spoiling his grandkids and smothering them with love. He built a cabin in the mountains from the ground up as a place for his family to spend time together make memories, and have fun. Ronnie always wanted to be a missionary and would take Books of Mormon with him on his travels to hand out. He served as a temple worker with his wife for several years, and he always lent a helping hand to his neighbors and friends. Ronnie strived to live like the savior in all his doings. He returned home to his Heavenly Father on June 22nd 2025 at the age of 82 with his family by his side. Until we meet again, he will be missed dearly!
