Tennyson Adam Abraham Cecchini

1982 ~ 2015

With a smile on his face and a twinkle in his blue eyes, Tennyson, as hockey defense man, could streak out on the court to make a pass for his team without even looking at the winger.

Tennyson Adam Abraham Cecchini burst into the world thirty-three years ago. Named after his father Dennis and his grandfathers Adam Cecchini and Abraham Lincoln Toigo, he had an exuberance for life and family. Anyone lucky enough to spend time with him knew that he possessed a joyful nature.

Tenny was taken from this world far too soon; he passed away on May 12, 2015, after a struggle with addiction. His parents are proud of the fight he waged against this disease, but in the end it was too much for their boy.

Tennyson is survived by his son Kayson Lane, parents Dennis and Celeste Toigo Cecchini and his brother Palmer Cecchini. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Adam and Nancy Cecchini and his maternal grandparents Abraham and Ella B. Toigo.

Tenny was a graduate of Taylorsville High School in 2000, and attended Weber State College; he later worked in the medical supply field. Because his parents were from the Midwest, he enjoyed many trips to Wisconsin to be with his extended family.

Tenny enjoyed music, fishing, boating, his grandmother's lasagna and his grandpa's homemade bread. Most of all, he loved being with his son Kayson. Tennyson will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and his loving heart.

Den and Celeste would like to extend their appreciation to family and friends who were a part of Tennyson's journey. Friends of Tennyson have created a college fund for his son Kayson at http://www.gofundme.com/kaysoncecchini. Tennyson's parents would welcome donations made to the Maple Mountain Recovery, 727 East 1100 South, Mapleton, UT 84664, to help fight this disease.

Graveside services will be held at Mt. Olivet cemetery, 1342 East 5th South, Salt Lake City, Utah on Monday, May 18, 2015 at noon.
