Rose Marie Rogers Wiley returned peacefully to her Father in Heaven, and a nice reunion with her beloved husband Ham on January 28, 2024, at 6:30 pm.

She was born on September 15, 1929, in Logan City, Utah to Howard Rogers and Else Marie Olsen.
After his service in the Navy, he married Rose Marie Rogers. They like to joke that they were married three times but were never divorced. They eloped to Evanston, Wyoming on April 23, 1946, but didn’t tell anyone.

While riding with Rose Marie's father he told them that if they ever ran away and got married that he’d kill the S.O.B. They said they want to get married. They got married again on June 30, 1947, and were later sealed in the Logan Temple on October 4, 1950.

Ham and Rose Marie raised seven children:
Dee Ann Spencer, Edna Kaye Doerr, Laura Lea Cos, Judy Young, Janice Wiley, Janet Searl, Robert Wiley, 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Dee Ann (Wiley) Spencer, Jance Wiley, Edna Kaye (Wiley) Doerr, and grandson Johnny Michael Doeer.

She was always willing to help in any way she could. She would:
-cook the best food you ever had
-crochet blankets
-sew any kind of clothes you want with or without a pattern
-The big lesson was to never give up you’ll get right. Think outside the box.

We will have a viewing from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Larkin Mortuary (260 E South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84111).
Following the viewing, a graveside service and grave dedication will be held at the Logan City Cemetery (1000 N 1200 E, Logan, UT 84321) at 12:30 pm.

I'm sorry for your loss. There is a Big void when your Parent is no longer here with you. May your memories of her and the good times that you shared together help you with her passing. You and your family are in my prayers and thoughts.
