Rosella Louise Austin

Rosella Louise Austin born April 26 ,1952 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones in her home December 3, 2020.
Rosella was born in Salt Lake City to her mother Pauline. Rosella spent her younger years being an attentive big sister to all of her siblings. In 1976 Rosella gave birth to her first child Brandy Louise Austin, followed by her son Joey Lynn Austin in 1984. Rosella was a hard-working single mother, yet she always made the time to be the best mother to her children. When Rosella's parents became in-need Rosella then dedicated her life to taking care of them until their passing. Rosella then transitioned to becoming a grandmother and taking care of her grandchildren. She fulfilled her greatest life dreams by becoming a grandmother to Brandy 's children Savannah and Jayce, and by watching her son Joey get married. Rosella's children and grandchildren were her life's pride and joy.

Rosella enjoyed many things during her life, she loved collecting M&M's memorabilia, listening to music, trying new foods, going to the park with her family to enjoy a nice lunch, reading the newspaper, going for walks, watching TV, spending time with her cats, doing word searches and puzzles, gardening, collecting and reading cookbooks, and playing with her grandchildren.

Rosella was diagnosed with stage four Glioblastoma in September of 2020. Rosella went through many trials and hardships after her diagnosis but from day one she never let any of it worry her or get her down. Rosella fought bravely and admirably, like the rest of her life she was always trying to take care of everyone else up until her final breath.

Rosella is survived by her children Brandy and Joey., and her grandchildren Savannah and Jayce.

Funeral: December 9th at 2pm
