William Crawford Smith

1941 ~ 2016

William Crawford Smith, Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Friend passed away November 10, 2016 of complications related to Parkinson's Disease. Born January 17, 1941 to George Kirk Smith and Agnes Afton Crawford Smith in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bill graduated from Highland High School after which he served in the Army for two years at WestPoint by the Majestic Hudson. He later met his Sweetheart, Charlotte Joan Smith (Cheri) in 1966. They were married two years later and have enjoyed 48 happy years together. Bill was a big boy who enjoyed all kinds of toys. He loved cars, motorhomes, snowmobiles, and especially boats. He was extremely mechanical and could fix anything. He supported his family as a hard working car business owner. He is survived by his loving wife Cheri; Daughters, Michelle (Michael) Colvin, and Colleen (Richard) Cowley, Grandchildren; Taylor and Joseph Colvin, and Brady, Paige, and Cody Cowley. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, George and Afton Smith, Brother Kirk and many beloved pets.

Special thanks to the entire staff at the Silverado Rehabilitation Center for offering such loving care and support during this difficult time.

We invite family and friends to join together to celebrate his life and share treasured memories. A visitation will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 1:00 ‚ 2:30 at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Funeral Home, 2350 East 1300 South. All are invited to a graveside service following the visitation.
