Ruth Ann Roberts passed away December 16, 2020 at home in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born April 25, 1956 in Crescent City, California to Theodore LeRoy Allie and Emma Louise Nelson Allie. She married Christopher Jay Roberts, June 8, 1974 in Medford, Oregon.
She loved playing golf, walking on the beach and playing her flute. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her proudest moments were when her daughters and grandchildren were born.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher; daughters, Jani L. Criss and Kirstina D. Jamison; grandchildren, Keala Nelson, Sam Nelson and Zack Nelson.
A Celebration of Her Life will be Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, Utah.
Chris and family, we are so sorry to hear about sweet Ruth's passing, but we know you will be comforted by Gods angels, seen and unseen and you will be in our thoughts and prayers for a peaceful Christmas this year and until you greet her and all your loved ones again!
Ruth was one of my very best friends from second grade on...We just understood each other and she had the most wonderful sense of humor. I will always remember Ruth’s joyous laugh and smile. We grew up together and continued our deep friendship throughout life’s milestones...our marriages, the births of our daughters and the addition of grandchildren. I miss Ruth so very much, but am blessed that she was my friend. My deepest condolences to her husband, Chris, and her daughters and grandchildren.
Ruth was a shining treasure in our lives.

How do you say good-bye to a person who in life, who has shown all of us, what exceptional person she is, beautiful inside and out, where I always would love to make her laugh, enjoy good times with, have such found memories of a life time friendship. Ruth will definitely have an impact on my heart for the rest of my life? RIP Ruth, I realize you were suffering from the quality of life you used to have, bless you Chris and your daughters and the medical personnel for looking after Ruth to try to make her comfortable from experiencing this nasty disease. Those of us that got to have her as our dear close friend, are fortunate of having her a part of us to keep found memories in our hearts and to look back on. Everyone who knew Ruth understood that she was one of kindest souls on Earth. She had such grace and poise, as well as a wonderful sense of humor. We knew each other since grade school and I am proud to say that I was in her friendship circle for all of her remaining years. Our group trip to Hawaii was soooo fabulous!! She is gone too soon, but absolutely never forgotten. Hugs to Chris, her daughters and grandchildren. You all helped to make her journey home more peaceful. Love always.

She was such a caring and fun person, her smile and laugh would actually light up the entire room. We were blessed to have Ruth a part of this journey called life.
