Our loving dad, granddad and brother left us on January 16, 2017 after a long fight with cancer. William was born on December 22, 1947 to Orval Denison and Theda T. Mills in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Barbara Ann Lyons on August 10, 1966. They had 3 children; Joseph, William and Victoria. They were sealed to their children in the Manti LDS Temple. Bill was very proud to be a grandfather. He had 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Bill delivered newspapers at night. He totaled several trucks due to collisions with deer. He will always be known as The Deer Slayer. He will be missed. We love ya, Dad.
He is predeceased by his wife, Barbara. He is survived by his children, Joseph, William Jr. and Victoria, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thurs., Jan. 19, 2017 at 1:00pm with a visitation prior from 11-1:00 pm. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy.
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us precious memories.
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
