Lexie Sage Fenton

2000 ~ 2016

Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dear sweet Lexie Sage Fenton who was tragically taken from us in a car accident. We know that Lexie was welcomed and embraced by our loving Savior and that we will see her again. We look forward to that reunion. Lexie and her identical twin sister Lauren were born July 23, 2000 to Travis and Natalie Fenton in Salt Lake City, Utah. Although her time was short on this earth, she lived life to the fullest. She had a contagious laugh, a beautiful smile, and the most genuine, loyal, and tender heart you could find. She was a selfless person who always worried about those around her and found joy serving and making others happy. As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she developed a strong testimony of the Savior and of His restored gospel and loved being part of the Young Women\s program.

She had a passion for mountain biking and had the privilege of being part of the Corner Canyon Mountain Biking Team, where she recently lettered. Other passions included watching movies, spending time on the beach, hanging out with friends, and taking pictures. She cherished flowers, spending time in the mountains and family trips to Disneyland. Her talents included drawing, fashion, and makeup. Lexie loved music and could often be found singing in the car or listening with her ear buds. She loved Harry Potter and recently had the opportunity to celebrate her 16th birthday with her sister in Harry Potter World. Her newest passion was wake surfing and we cherish the memories of watching her do what she loved. Lexie loved and admired her brothers and used her witty sense of humor to put a smile on their faces.

Because Lauren and Lexie were identical, inseparable and the very best of friends, their relationship is unmatched. There wasn't a night that went by where they didn't laugh themselves to sleep. We know that Lexie will be a guardian angel and comforter for her sweet sister Lauren.

We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support that we have felt from family, friends, neighbors and the entire community. We are humbled by the love we have felt from the students and staff at Corner Canyon High School. We thank the first responders to the scene and the many police, firemen, doctors, and nurses. We specifically thank and honor Dr. Jason Hancey and Tiffany Coon for their selfless and heroic act performed in saving Lauren at the accident scene.

May we all put our faith and trust in our Savior's plan.

Lexie is survived by her parents, brothers Kaden and Mason, and twin sister and best friend Lauren. She is also survived by her grandparents Jim and Joyce Fenton, Darrel and Mary Stephens, and Rory Aplanalp, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
